 Mexico is a country of artisans and her handicrafts are among the country’s greatest assets. Every region produces something different and Cancún brings it all together. Silver from Taxco, rugs from Oaxaca, Talavera pottery from Puebla, textiles from Chiapas – it's all here, indeed the variety and selection is almost overwhelming. The wonderful thing about handicrafts is that every object is a singular work of art, an expression of traditional beliefs and a unique representative of the country in which it was made.
