Palancar.
A favorite. Palancar is huge (5.6 km long) and you won’t see it all in 20 dives. It is known for its coral columns. Shallower parts: depths of 20-40 ft.; deep Palancar: 100-120 ft and for advanced divers only
Palancar Caves.
An area of caves within Palancar Reef. Entrance is at a depth of 45 feet, the exit, at 120 ft.
Colombia.
Another awesome section of reef. The huge coral heads rise to the height of a two-story house. Huge anemones and sea fans, and a great quantity of fish. Shallower sections: 15-35 ft.; deeper sections: 60-80 ft.
Punta Sur.
Beautiful underwater terrain, rich in marine life but limited to divers with the specialized training and experience required for especially deep diving. Average dive depths: 90-120 ft.
