 This large area borders Sian Ka’an to the east and the neighboring state of Yucatan to the west. Its northern limit is the Tulum-Cobá area, and to the south, the village of Limones. It encompasses José María Morelos and Felipe Carrillo Puerto municipal districts. The latter is also the name of the capital of the Zona Maya. Roads spread out from this bustling town linking it to remote villages.
