 Sterling service, world-class chefs and multilingual staff personify Cancún’s hotels and resorts. Services for luxury hotels include giant pools with swim-up bars, tennis courts, spas, gyms, beauty parlors, boutiques, restaurants, kids’ clubs, nightclubs and mini markets. They also have tour and car rental desks and water sports centers. Room amenities include mini bars, safes, cable or satellite TV and balconies with ocean views.
While most hotels offer meeting rooms, a few specialize in conventions and have the installations, equipment and staff necessary to cater large events.
Dozens of hotels now operate all-inclusive packages covering accommodation, unlimited food, drink, evening entertainment, water sports and use of the gym.
The larger hotels often have nurses or doctors on call for emergencies. Other accommodation options include timeshares or fully furnished condos and villas that rent by the day, week or month.
