 Shoreline, Cozumel

|
 Cozumel is a flat plain 16 kilometers wide and 48 kilometers long. You can just about drive round the entire island on the coast road. The shoreline changes from sandy beach and relatively no surf on the leeward side of the island, to ironshore and strong currents on its windward side.
