 Aktun Chen Cenote

 This 400 hectare nature park is located between Akumal and Xel-Há and the highlight is undoubtedly a walk through a cave full of stalactites and stalagmites. The jungle is pristine and rich in flora and fauna. Look out for the chicozapote tree, the source of chicle. The entrance fee includes a guided tour of the cave, entry to the herpetarium and the small regional wildlife zoo.
