 Shoreline, Punta Bete

|
 The turn-off for Punta Bete is 66 km south of Cancún (55 min.) and minutes before reaching Playa del Carmen. The beaches are lovely, the offshore reef is good for snorkeling and diving, and wildlife abounds in the jungle. There are bungalows, a campsite and a restaurant at Punta Bete and larger hotels at Posada Capitan Lafitte and Xcalacoco.
