 Representation of the pre-Hispanic ballgame

 “Xcaret de Noche” is the park’s after dark program, and is well worth staying on for. It takes place in the Gran Tlachco, a thatched theater housing 6,000 people. The entertainment ranges from a Mayan ritual and the reenactment of the pre-Hispanic ball game, at one point with the rubber ball alight, to Mexican folk dances and the presentation of the Papantla flyers.
